"⭐️ THE BEST REVIEW EVER for Shenandoah Valley Orthodontics! ⭐️I don’t usually write posts like this, but after what we experienced, I truly feel like I need to share this.Yesterday was one of those moments as a mom that you never want to experience. My son was hit in the mouth with a baseball, and it hit so hard that one of his teeth was actually pushed backward. 😭 Talk about a terrifying moment. I’m sure it won’t be the last time one of my kids scares me half to death, but that doesn’t make it any less scary when it happens.Our first instinct was to call his dentist to see if they had an emergency appointment. We couldn’t get anyone to answer, even though they advertise an emergency line. We called multiple places with emergency numbers, and NO ONE — absolutely no one — answered. We eventually got a call back hours later, but by that point, we took him to the ER.While we were dealing with all of this, my husband suggested contacting his orthodontist, Shenandoah Valley Orthodontics, and I cannot tell you how incredibly thankful I am that we did.Dr. DeArment answered immediately. 🙏I sent him pictures of my son’s mouth, and he took the time to compare them to his last scan. He told us what to tell the ER doctor and helped us understand what we were dealing with. And here’s the part that really gets me — even though today is his day off, he is STILL checking in and communicating with me.That is what you call going above and beyond.When you’re a scared parent, you don’t necessarily need someone to magically fix everything. Sometimes you just need someone knowledgeable to answer the phone, listen, guide you, and make you feel like you’re not dealing with it alone. Dr. DeArment did exactly that for us.I also want to give a HUGE thank you to Rachel Smith at Winchester Medical Center’s ER. She was incredibly patient, kind, and understanding with us. She tried to do everything she could to help, even though the ER unfortunately is not equipped to handle dental emergencies. She actually called an oral surgeon to get recommendations while we waited to see if they could splint my son’s tooth. Her patience and willingness to help meant so much to us during an incredibly stressful situation. ❤️And honestly, this whole experience has been so frustrating. I cannot believe how difficult it is to find someone who will actually respond when a child has a dental emergency. We were calling emergency numbers and getting absolutely nowhere. There should be better options for pediatric dental emergencies.But if you are looking for an orthodontist who truly cares about their patients and is there when you need them, I cannot recommend Shenandoah Valley Orthodontics and Dr. DeArment enough. There is absolutely no way you could change my mind after the way they supported us through this.Thank you, Dr. DeArment, for being there for my son and for this very worried mom and dad. ❤️ You went above and beyond, and we appreciate you more than you know!Hopefully we never have to go through something like this again… but knowing we have someone like you in our corner makes a scary situation just a little less scary. 🥹❤️⚾️I wish I could give more than 5 stars!"
"I never leave reviews but I’m so thankful for Dr DeArment. My sons teeth were a tough case. Dr DeArment corrected his teeth, after a dentist in Winchester who claimed to also specialize in orthodontics, wasted my time and a lot of my money. My son’s teeth look sooo much better after only 6 months of treatment at Shen Valley Ortho. So grateful!"

"I’ve had a fantastic experience at Shenandoah Valley Orthodontics (SVO) from start to finish! The staff is friendly, professional, and always makes me feel comfortable during every visit. Dr. DeArment is incredibly knowledgeable and always takes the time to explain every step of the treatment process.The office is modern, clean, and well-equipped with the latest technology- not to mention the best coffee bar and water. :) Scheduling is easy, and the front desk team is always welcoming and helpful when it comes to managing appointments and insurance questions.Overall, I couldn’t be more pleased with my treatment, and I highly recommend SVO to anyone looking for high-quality orthodontic care. "I cannot say enough good things about Dr. DeArment and Shenandoah Valley Orthodontics. My treatment plan not only included several rounds of Invisalign, but it also included jaw surgery as well. Dr. DeArment worked with my surgeon to make sure I had the best outcome. He paid attention to every detail so that my treatment plan was perfect. I now have the smile of my dreams! The staff at Shenandoah Valley Orthodontics is wonderful as well. From the initial consultation to my final appointment where they gave me a celebratory gift, I couldn’t have asked for better orthodontic care. Not only have I brought my own children to this office for braces/Invisalign but I have recommended them to my nieces, nephews, and friends as well. "My son Brentley had his initial consult appointment this morning in the Front Royal office. I can not say enough good about this office and the staff. We were immediately greeted with warm smiles. Everything was explained well and in detail to myself and my son. The best part was they were able to help my 8 year old understand everything and talked to him more than me. I was a patient of Dr. Dearment about 15 years ago and was even greeted with welcome back and asked how everything was going from my previous treatment. I am so thankful to be able to use SVO for my son. I would highly reccomend this practice to anyone in need of orthodontic treatment."

"I wanted to take just a few minutes to share what a positive experience we have had so far at Shenandoah Valley Orthodontics. There are several other Orthodontists in town, but after our initial consultation with Dr. Dearment we didn't need to look any further. The staff is friendly and informative, the Doctors are knowledgeable and approachable. As a kid, I dreaded going to the Orthodontist but SVO makes every visit a positive experience. We've been very pleased so far with the treatment of our son's needs - too soon to tell the final result, but word on the street is we won't be disappointed."

"We initially had 3 consults scheduled for my oldest daughter a couple years ago. I wound up canceling the other 2 after our consult with Shenandoah Valley Orthodontics seemed like the obvious choice and backed up what others had told me. Zero regrets on that decision! Their facility is top notch, clean, and state of the art. Even the kids love to visit with a lobby full of things to keep them occupied. They will give you an HONEST, full assessment of what your best options are. It's clear that they will not steer you in any direction directed towards profits and will continue to see you as long as needed without the worry of receiving extra bills in the mail. The atmosphere from the front desk to Dr. Lill & Dr. DeArment and everyone in between is full of employees who are friendly, child interactive, positive, and love their jobs! Highly recommend to others!"
