⭐️ THE BEST REVIEW EVER for Shenandoah Valley Orthodontics! ⭐️I don’t usually write posts like this, but after what we experienced, I truly feel like I need to share this.Yesterday was one of those moments as a mom that you never want to experience. My son was hit in the mouth with a baseball, and it hit so hard that one of his teeth was actually pushed backward. 😭 Talk about a terrifying moment. I’m sure it won’t be the last time one of my kids scares me half to death, but that doesn’t make it any less scary when it happens.Our first instinct was to call his dentist to see if they had an emergency appointment. We couldn’t get anyone to answer, even though they advertise an emergency line. We called multiple places with emergency numbers, and NO ONE — absolutely no one — answered. We eventually got a call back hours later, but by that point, we took him to the ER.While we were dealing with all of this, my husband suggested contacting his orthodontist, Shenandoah Valley Orthodontics, and I cannot tell you how incredibly thankful I am that we did.Dr. DeArment answered immediately. 🙏I sent him pictures of my son’s mouth, and he took the time to compare them to his last scan. He told us what to tell the ER doctor and helped us understand what we were dealing with. And here’s the part that really gets me — even though today is his day off, he is STILL checking in and communicating with me.That is what you call going above and beyond.When you’re a scared parent, you don’t necessarily need someone to magically fix everything. Sometimes you just need someone knowledgeable to answer the phone, listen, guide you, and make you feel like you’re not dealing with it alone. Dr. DeArment did exactly that for us.I also want to give a HUGE thank you to Rachel Smith at Winchester Medical Center’s ER. She was incredibly patient, kind, and understanding with us. She tried to do everything she could to help, even though the ER unfortunately is not equipped to handle dental emergencies. She actually called an oral surgeon to get recommendations while we waited to see if they could splint my son’s tooth. Her patience and willingness to help meant so much to us during an incredibly stressful situation. ❤️And honestly, this whole experience has been so frustrating. I cannot believe how difficult it is to find someone who will actually respond when a child has a dental emergency. We were calling emergency numbers and getting absolutely nowhere. There should be better options for pediatric dental emergencies.But if you are looking for an orthodontist who truly cares about their patients and is there when you need them, I cannot recommend Shenandoah Valley Orthodontics and Dr. DeArment enough. There is absolutely no way you could change my mind after the way they supported us through this.Thank you, Dr. DeArment, for being there for my son and for this very worried mom and dad. ❤️ You went above and beyond, and we appreciate you more than you know!Hopefully we never have to go through something like this again… but knowing we have someone like you in our corner makes a scary situation just a little less scary. 🥹❤️⚾️I wish I could give more than 5 stars!

We’ve had such a great experience with Shenandoah Valley Orthodontics so far (been going for 15months for our son)! 🦷❤️From the very beginning, everyone has been welcoming, friendly, and professional.
