Serendipitously, my 9 year old was referred to SVO for developmental orthodontics. My 14 year old was simultaneously scheduled for braces- but with our family dentist. (Which we paid $150 consultation fee for.) I didn’t feel informed enough to decide on traditional braces or Invisalign (my son’s preference) for him. I had traditional braces 30 years ago and my experience was not pleasant. I didn’t know enough about Invisalign to make an informed choice. Considering the time, money and effort involved with orthodontics, we went to Shenandoah Valley Ortho.Our family has multiple patients who are different ages, and have very different treatment needs. (Our consultation was completely free)We were in awe of this place. The office is state of the art and the customer service and attention to detail is genuinely - thoughtful.Welcoming my kids - by name on their reception sign, offering us refreshments, having plenty of things to do to keep kids busy while we waited, a guided tour, futuristic X-rays and scans, to even having small personalized gifts prepared for each of them that just says “thanks for choosing us, cause you didn’t have to.” From our first consultation until now, it’s been effortless as the parent of double orthodontic patients, simultaneously, with different needs.Our treatment coordinator, Bonnie, went above and beyond to customize our care and ensure we understood every step. She followed through on everything she told us, and it was enjoyable to work with her.Until you’ve seen your child’s bite model in 3D on a huge flat screen, while a knowledgeable and experienced orthodontist explains to you what needs to be corrected, followed by a digital demonstration of the process from start to finish before finally revealing a visual image of the end result to give you a sneak preview of how remarkable your kid’s new smile is before it’s even happened…..well then you just haven’t been to Shenandoah Valley Orthodontics.
