Daniel J. Lill, DDS, MS

Dr. Lill earned his undergraduate degree from Pennsylvania State University. Before entering dental school, he spent four years working in two trauma centers—an extension of his early volunteer work as a medic, which sparked his interest in healthcare and service.

He graduated summa cum laude from the Medical College of Virginia with his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree. He then completed a Certificate in Advanced Education in General Dentistry, followed by a Certificate and Master of Science in Orthodontics from the same institution. Dr. Lill has published research in the American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics and continues to speak at both public and professional events on oral health topics.

He is an active member of the American, Southern, and Virginia Association of Orthodontists. He was President and long-standing Board member of the Virginia Orthodontic Education and Research Foundation.

Dr. Lill is deeply involved in his local community and actively supports local schools, athletic programs, and United Way initiatives. He donates his time, skills, and resources to make a difference in the lives of others.

A licensed and accomplished travel soccer coach for 10 years, he also served 6 years as the chairman of the board for Blue Ridge United Soccer Club. Coaching youth soccer is a major passion, and he finds great fulfillment in mentoring young athletes both on and off the field.

In his free time, Dr. Lill enjoys outdoor lake life, boating, cooking, pickleball, fun shoe styles and driving gas-free vehicles. He’s an avid supporter of Penn State, the Pittsburgh Steelers, and the Penguins. Most importantly, he values quality time with his wife, Leslie, and their four children: PSU grads Andrew & Jordan, and Handley high school twin boys Matthew and Brayden.
