Sherlly Dolmuz, DDS

Dr. Sherlly Dolmuz enjoys helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles through personalized orthodontic care built on trust, communication, and lasting relationships. She is committed to creating a positive experience for every patient and takes pride in making each visit comfortable, informative, and tailored to each individual's needs.

Born and raised in Maryland, Dr. Dolmuz is proud of her Nicaraguan heritage. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Management from the University of Maryland, College Park, where she completed the Honors College program in Entrepreneurship and Innovation. She then received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine before completing her orthodontic residency at Georgetown University MedStar Washington Hospital Center. During her residency, she earned her Certificate in Orthodontics and served as Chief Resident. Fluent in both English and Spanish, Dr. Dolmuz enjoys connecting with patients and families from diverse backgrounds.

Outside the office, Dr. Dolmuz enjoys staying active through workouts and hiking, expressing her creativity through painting, and learning to play the guitar and piano. She also loves traveling, exploring new restaurants, and sharing her Nicaraguan culture through food, traditions, and community involvement.
