Although he did experience some mouth pain afterward, he felt confident knowing he was in capable hands. "I met with the staff and orthodontist mid March to discuss my options to fix my smile. I am 35 and had wire braces as a child but like many, did not wear my retainer. I was really impressed with the space. It’s very nice and welcoming and the staff are so friendly. I decided to move forward with Invisalign and got my trays yesterday. The process was pain-free, seamless, and the staff again was great to work with. I can’t wait to see the progress that I make. I am getting into a new routine, which I know will take time but will be worth it in the end. I highly recommend Shenandoah Valley orthodontics if you are in the market for straighter teeth."

"I had my first orthodontist appointment at SVO earlier this year. Addie was amazing in welcoming me into the office and doing all of my initial scans. I then worked with Tara and Dr. Song to see what the best options were for the health and look of my smile. Tara explained in detail what ortho appliances they offered that could potentially help me. Dr. Song then came in and walked me through my images to discuss what he believed to be the best course of action to correct my concerns. Tara then helped me find some oral surgeon options for tooth extractions prior to starting invisalign. She was also super helpful in the breakdown financially of what invisalign would look like for me. I then returned for my first appointment for invisalign with Kathy, she was awesome! She had me laughing the entire time and explained the process of invisalign to me. I left with no questions and felt good about the experience. I recommend this office because of their fair-price tag for my 17 months Invisalign plan, while other orthodontist offices were $500 more.Secondly,I believe that everyone there had a good amount of training and experience because I am never disappointed with their help/advise. "I brought my daughter in for a consultation and the office was nothing short of amazing. They were so welcoming from the moment we stepped in the door. They greeted us, had a welcome sign for all the patients coming that day and they offered coffee, tea, water while we waited. Very quickly the staff welcomed us back to give us a tour of the office and start the photos and exam. We quickly got through all the X-rays and photos and then talked to the dentist and tech about their ortho plan. They explained the options and their plan and were very thorough. They gave my daughter a welcome gift, which was very thoughtful! Since it’s summer the office was offering a “sweet treat” of ice cream to all patients. I cant wait to continue working them as my daughter starts her Invisalign.Super clean and nice office and great staff! I highly recommend them to all friends and family! "Our daughter was the first of our 4 kids to need orthodontic treatment and we are thrilled with our experience! She just finished her first phase of Invisalign and the results are astounding. I still can’t believe everything that can be done by Invisalign, but I’m so glad she gets to avoid all the crazy contraptions and pain I went through. We had nothing, but a great experience from our initial consultation, to scanning and communicating on the app, to her last appointment! The convenience is truly so perfect for busy families and the whole process couldn’t have been easier. I will also add that I’m so grateful to them for noticing how large my oldest son’s adenoids were. Because of them he had them removed and he can breathe and sleep so much better! I cannot recommend SVO anymore and we will certainly continue our orthodontic treatment with them for all 4 of our kids in the coming years!"

"Anyone who knows me will no that my biggest area of self confidence issues has been my teeth. I would joke about them before others could. If I smiled at all, it was with a closed mouth. Laughing almost always meant covering my mouth with my hand. Between the overbite, overjet, and never having many of my adult teeth grow in after losing my baby teeth, my mouth felt like something out of a horror movie. Seven months ago I started Invisalign, and while I still have at least one more round of aligners and jaw surgery to finish, the results in such a short time have been almost miraculous. They said Invisalign was NOT an option, were planning 2 surgeries at UVA, permanent screws in her jaw, sawing her jaw bone, were demeaning in their presentation saying my daughter's teeth were "a huge problem" and "a big mess."
