Dr. DeArment knew from any early age that he wanted to pursue a career in dentistry. He began working at Shenandoah Valley Orthodontics as a clinical technician during his summer breaks from college and dental school. It was during this time that he became certain that orthodontics would become his passion. His love of working with his hands and with people while creating beautiful and healthy smiles continues to drive his enthusiasm for caring for his patients’ orthodontic needs.
Dr. DeArment was born in Wilkes-Barre, PA but relocated to Winchester, VA at age 4 after his family lost their home to Hurricane Agnes. He graduated from John Handley High School before earning a B.S. in biology from the University of Richmond (Magna Cum Laude/Phi Beta Kappa) and his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Virginia Commonwealth University (Magna Cum Laude). He earned his Certificate in Orthodontics from the University of Louisville and entered private practice in Winchester and Front Royal in 1996.
Dr. DeArment is a published author in scientific journals and has lectured at local schools and dental study clubs. He is Past President of the Virginia Association of Orthodontics and is the current President of the University of Louisville Orthodontic Alumni Association, and is a member of various state, regional and national dental and orthodontic professional organizations.
He has been active in numerous local civic and charitable organizations including the United Way, Winchester Rotary Club and Braddock Street United Methodist Church. He has served as President of the Handley Judges Athletic Association and the Winchester Education Foundation.
Dr. DeArment is an avid Pittsburgh Steelers and Pittsburgh Penguins fan and enjoys fitness training, golf, skiing, tennis, and fishing. He enjoys traveling and spending time with his lovely wife, Nancy, and his four beautiful daughters Olivia, Natalie, Anne Elyse and Audrey.

Dr. Lill has been a specialist in orthodontics for over five years now. He grew up in Rochester, NY and earned his undergraduate degree from The Pennsylvania State University and then his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the Medical College of Virginia graduating summa cum laude. He completed a certificate program in Advanced Education in General Dentistry and a Certificate and Master of Science degree in Orthodontics from the Medical College of Virginia, and he has published research in the American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics. Dr. Lill also gives public and professional lectures on oral health topics and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics. He is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists, Virginia Association of Orthodontists and the Southern Association of Orthodontists.
Away from the office, Dr. Lill participates with local United Way and helps coach youth soccer and inline hockey. In his spare time, he enjoys golf, tennis, Penn State football and spending time with his wife, Leslie, and their four children, Andrew, Jordan and twin boys Matthew and Brayden.
